SheetRoutines focuses on the gap between a basic spreadsheet and a full software implementation: the place where a well-built business tool can save a lot of time and frustration.
Built around the process, not a template.
Most spreadsheet problems are not really spreadsheet problems. They come from a workflow that grew over time: another tab, another copy, another person updating a number, another weekly report rebuilt by hand.
The goal is to understand that routine first, then build the simplest dependable system that improves it. Sometimes that is a clean tracker. Sometimes it is a dashboard. Sometimes automation is worth adding. The tool should fit the work, not the other way around.
A small team, not a software company
SheetRoutines is a handful of operations and automation people based in the Kansas City metro. We have run schedules, chased parts, tracked work orders, and built the reports management wanted by Monday. The tools come out of that experience, which is why they tend to fit how a shop actually runs.
What matters in the finished tool
It should be clear enough for daily users, useful enough for management, and maintainable enough that normal business changes do not immediately break it.
